Town of New TecumsethVolunteers will lead a gentle functional fitness program designed for community members aged 55+
- The purpose of the program is to:
- Increase and maintain strength, coordination, balance and flexibility
- Improve health and energy
- Improve mobility and independence
- Prevent falls and decrease falls risk
- Meet new people and socialize
- Monitor pace of play utilizing Tag Marshal technology alongside the Pro Shop Attendant and the Professional Staff in addition to oncourse observation Ensure golfers adhere to course rules and regulations including course care
- Provide high-quality customer service to golfers, addressing their needs and resolving issues as they may arise throughout the day
- Assist with the coordination and set up of golf carts, member/guests bags, on course signage and specialty stations as required for both daily play and tournaments
- Enforce course safety guidelines
- Assist Starter at first tee during busy times
- Weekends are the busiest times at the course. Some weekends and holidays are required
- Maintain communication with the golf shop staff and Golf Operations staff
- Provide excellent customer service to golfers
- Perform other duties as assigned
Coaching various track and field events: i.e. sprint/hurdles; mid-distance, jumps
Be a team leader to take group of children around to various activities at Sonlight Camp
There are two sessions this year
Camp 1: August 5-8 (Tuesday to Friday) Ages 5-12
Camp 2: August 11-15 (Monday to Friday) Ages 5-12
Time: 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
There is before care 8:00 am to 8:45 am and after care 4:15 pm to 5:00 pm

- Demonstrated experience required (paid or volunteer)

- Listen to clients to assess their needs and recommend resources to meet those needs

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and efficiently with minimal supervision
- Share our passion and dedication to making a real difference in the lives of women (particularly BIPOC women) who have experienced trauma through domestic violence and/or human trafficking
- Deliver to a high standard, in pften challenging circumstances, both ethically and professionally and are able to work collaboratively in a culturally diverse organization

Integral part of ensuring that staff and volunteers are looked after in a professional and open way. The HR Specialist will act as a catalyst when handling disputes and ensuring that policies and legislation are being followed. Working collaboratively with other members of the team, the HR Specialist will work toward the following as a volunteer:
- Demonstrated experience required (paid or volunteer)
- Have a clear understanding of domestic violence, human trafficking and associated trauma
- CHRP designate is an asset
- Solid understanding of labour legislation and employee recruitment
- Maintaining updated employee and volunteer records
- Support the staff culture
- Working with staff and volunteers to ensure that policy is being interpreted and executed in the manner for which it was intended
- Able to manage and implement conflict resolution practices where required

A Volunteer House Legaue Coach supports a fun, inclusive, and positive soccer experience for players of all skill levels. The coach focuses on player development (led by our technical director), teamwork, sportsmanship, and creating a safe, enjoyable environment on and off the field. Commitment level is minimum 1-hour, 1x per week, but can increase based on the volunteers preference. Roles:
- Run weekly practices (provided by BSC) using age‑appropriate drills that develop basic skills such as passing, shooting, dribbling, and teamwork.
- Coach games by organizing lineups, ensuring fair playing time, and guiding players with encouragement and positive instruction.
- Model positive behaviour by promoting respect, sportsmanship, and fair play at all times.
- Ensure player safety by following club policies, monitoring equipment, and responding appropriately to injuries or incidents.
- Collaborate with other coaches and volunteers to support smooth game days, set up fields, and manage team logistics.
