Pregnancy Care and Family Support centre offering information, resources and support to struggling families and people affected by unexpected pregnancy.

Services include:

Emotional Support:

• Information on personal questions about pregnancy and parenting
• Options education for unexpected pregnancy
• Post-abortion support (present and past)- does not provide assist in arranging abortions
• Sexual health and pregnancy education
• Referrals to appropriate community resources such as heating costs

Programming:

• Individualized pregnancy / birth lessons
• Healthy relationship education - how to establish healthy relationships
• Customized parenting programs - designed to help parents develop skills needed to parent. Topics may include First year, Fatherhood, Toddlers and coparenting
• Living in color - faith based program offering individual and small group support for those struggling with decisions about abortion.

Free material supports:

• Pregnancy Tests - tests are urine-based and do not require OHIP or health insurance
  • those taking a pregnancy test from the centre will have the opportunity to discus options for care and community resources.
• Food - milk vouchers, baby food, formula, frozen meals
• Assistance in accessing clothing - NB to size 3 / maternity
• Assistance with access to internet and workspace
