Description and Service Details

Description (Service) Tax free monthly payment to assist with the cost of raising children

The Ontario Child Benefit and the Child Disability Benefit will be added as supplements to the Canada Child Benefit for eligible families

Eligibility Applicant must live with the child, and child must be under 18 years of age

  • applicant or spouse or common-law partner must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, protected person or a temporary resident

Child Disability Benefit -- families who care for children with severe and prolonged mental or physical impairments
