Description (Service)

2024 Christmas hamper program:

  • Hampers include turkey or ham and dinner items.

Toys for Kids Drive, sponsored by the Kinettes

  • Toys available for children 16 years of age and under, must pre-register

Donations

  • If individuals wish to donate turkeys, please do so as soon as possible .
  • Cheque donations are to be made out to the "Wasaga Beach Ministerial Food Bank". Receipt will be mailed.
  • Toy donations can be made at the numerous locations in town such as grocery stores who are collecting for "Kinettes - Toys for Kids". Any toys welcomed, but especially need gifts for teenagers.
Hours Food bank: Tue 10 am-1 pm; Thu 10 am-1 pm, 6:30 pm-8:30 pm

Hamper registration: Oct 13, 2024 to Dec 17, 2024
Hamper pick up: Dec 18, 2024 from 10 am-6:45 pm

Toy registration: Nov 1, 2024-Dec 10, 2024
Toy pickup: Dec 14, 2024 from 10 am-3 pm (at the Recreation Hall by the Old Wasaga Stars Arena; 425 River Rd W)

Food donations: accepted until Dec 25

Eligibility Anyone in need. Must not be registered elsewhere for assistance or toys. 
 
Must live in Wasaga Beach.
Application Apply in person at the food bank during specified dates.
If someone else is picking up on behalf, must have a signed letter from person who registered.
