Description and Service Details

Description (Service) First Aid and CPR training programs for workplace, home and the community, courses offered include:
  • CPR, Standard First Aid, Emergency First Aid, Automated External Defibrillation (AED)
  • WSIB approved workplace courses include Standard and Emergency First Aid with CPR and AED (Automated External Defibrillator) and WHMIS and Health and Safety Training
  • First Aid courses also include modules on Opioid Overdoses and Mental Health First Aid
  • Private/custom courses in CPR (minimum 6 people) and First Aid (minimum 10 people) for businesses and individuals upon request
  • First Aid courses offered to seniors through seniors groups and institutions
  • New Parent Workshop
First Aid kits and AED units and supplies available for purchase for the workplace, home, automobile, boat, sports clubs etc.

Eligibility Courses: 15 years and up
Babysitting Courses: Boys, Girls 10 1/2-14 years

Volunteer Description Volunteer opportunities include:
  • Medical First Responder Members that provide first aid services at public functions upon request
  • Child car seat education inspections and clinics available with appointment
  • Youth Cadet Program
  • Dog Therapy Program where dogs and their handlers visit hospitals, nursing homes, schools and libraries
  • Bingo Volunteers
