Description and Service Details

Description (Service) Local charity supporting youth and families in Barrie and Simcoe County who might not be able to participate in recreational activities because of financial barriers, by administering funding to access sport, recreation, arts, cultural and social programs
  • YouthReach can approve a grant of up to $300 per 12-month period for a child to participate in extracurricular activities
  • programs that are complete are not eligible for funding and YouthReach cannot reimburse a family directly for fees already paid to a program provider
  • maximum grant amount of $300 per annual period, based on the first grant application date
