Description and Service Details

Description (Service) Child protection and children's mental health agency promoting, supporting and protecting the mental, physical, emotional and social well-being of children and youth
  • Branch offices located in Barrie, Bracebridge, Collingwood, Huntsville, Midland, and Orillia

  • specialized service teams for First Nations, Métis and Inuit Communities available from Barrie
  • Investigates allegations of neglect and abuse and provides protection for children when necessary, programs include:
    • intake and assessment
    • family service
    • children in care
    • adoption
    • foster care
    • volunteer programs
    • after hours programs
Community Relations and Fundraising
  • funding from this program is used to help offset the costs associated with prevention programs and educational opportunities
