Description (Service) Dedicated to the preservation, appreciation and dissemination of the history and heritage of Simcoe County
  • produces a quarterly newsletter on local history and heritage in Simcoe County and organizes a local history speakers series, both of which are open to the public
  • makes local history news, stories and resources available to the public through their website, blog, and social media
  • offers an annual Heritage Business Award recognizing long-standing local businesses
  • offers financial support to local history projects and events through their Community Partnership Grant program
  • offers the annual Andrew Hunter Award for best Canadian History essay to local high school students
