Description (Service)

Drop-in and social space for Two-Spirit Queer, Trans, Intersex, Questioning and Non-Binary youth ages 12-19 to connect with each other and build community.

In-person Group

  • get together in a relaxed social space and access resources and support on topics and issues that relate to sexual and romantic connections, and gender
  • past events have included social discussions, picnics, art workshops, cooking classes, field trips, movie nights, educational presentations and guest speakers
  • In-person groups take place in Barrie, Midland, Stayner and Orillia on Wednesdays at community partner spaces around Simcoe Muskoka Region and on the second Thursday of the month at Gilbert Centre

Online Group

  • Discord server has been created as an e-drop-in social space facilitating youth in Simcoe and Muskoka to connect with each other

Hours GC Queer & Trans Youth Programs will be closed from Mon Jun 30 to Mon Aug 4th, 2025. This means there will be no Discord Server Hours, Rainbow groups, GenQ groups or GCTO groups during this time.
