Description (Service)

Drop-in and social space for Two-Spirit Queer, Trans, Intersex, Questioning and Non-Binary youth ages 12-19 to connect with each other and build community.

In-person Group

  • get together in a relaxed social space and access resources and support on topics and issues that relate to sexual and romantic connections, and gender
  • past events have included social discussions, picnics, art workshops, cooking classes, field trips, movie nights, educational presentations and guest speakers
  • In-person groups take place in Barrie, Midland, and Stayner

Online Group

  • Discord server has been created as an e-drop-in social space facilitating youth in Simcoe and Muskoka to connect with each other

  • Barrie: The 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month, 2 pm-6 pm
    • Location: The Gilbert Centre, 80 Bradford St. Unit 525, Barrie
  • Midland: The 1st Monday of the month, 4 pm-6 pm
    • Location: North Simcoe Youth Wellness Hub, 287 Bayshore Dr., Midland
  • Stayner: 4th Wednesday of the month, 3 pm-6 pm
    • Location: Clearview Youth Centre, 7458 ON-26, Stayner
    Online Programs:
    • QT Connection Discord Server: Open hours every Monday (except holidays), 2 pm-6 pm
    • Rainbow Group: Virtual drop-in group via Discord Server every Monday (except holidays), 4 pm-6 pm
