Health centre focused on family and community health

  • encourage responsibility for one's own health and that of the community through health promotion, illness prevention, chronic disease management and integrated primary health care
  • Illness Prevention - involves services such as blood pressure screening, annual immunization against influenza and wellness visits
  • Diabetes Management Program - information about living with diabetes, monitoring blood sugar level, food choices, exercise, pump program, medications and lifestyle choices
  • Provide opportunities for health education, social interaction and enjoyment by offering a variety of workshops for the community, examples include Meditation Classes, Knitting and Crocheting Circles, Euchre Games, Exercise and Cooking classes etc. see website for details, dates and times
