Description and Service Details

Description (Service) Residential withdrawal management centre:
  • Non-medical, residential support for those looking for support around their use of alcohol and/or other psycho active drugs (both prescription and street)
  • 18 bed co-ed facility located off site from the main hospital campus
  • Program staff work collaboratively with the individual to develop an individualized discharge plan that supports their unique recovery goals
  • Individuals will have access to brief solution focused counselling and psycoeducational groups
  • Free, voluntary service that is available 24 hours a day
  • No referral is required

  • Age Requirements: 17 year(s) and up
  • Intoxicated, in withdrawal, or in a crisis related to alcohol/drugs, and are suitable for non-medical intervention
