Description and Service Details
| Description (Service) | Food bank using a 'Shopping Model'. You get to decide which foods you take home, that best suits your individual and families needs and dietary requirements.
Please note, last client will be served 15 minutes prior to closing. Financial donation receipts can be given for tax purposes. |

| Eligibility | Individuals in need of food assistance who live within the Alliston Food Bank boundaries. Proof of income not required. |
| Application | New Client Registration: Register during shopping hours. Arrive 30 minutes before closing allowing enough time for you to register and shop. What To Bring: Please bring photo identification showing proof of address for yourself and all members of your household. A photo of your spouse's identification and health cards for children is fine. Please bring income stubs (employment, ODSP, OW, EI, CPP, etc.,). Please note, income is only asked for statistical purposes and does not determine if you are eligible to use the food bank. During operational hours, the parking lot is closed for safety reasons, instead they offer a 'drive-thru' option, where you can drive up to load your groceries. Please utilize the parking available on the street or in the municipal parking lot to the east. When you have finished shopping, if you have too many groceries to carry to your vehicle, you can leave them on one of the designated tables. You can then retrieve your vehicle and drive into the food bank lot to load your groceries from the table and exit through the gate. An outside Attendant will be monitoring and supervising grocery pickups. |
