Description and Service Details

Description (Service)

Provides free assistance and information to those in the community with housing inquiries in the South Simcoe area.

Services include:

  • Emergency Funds for utility arrears with the Low-income Energy Assistance Program and the Ontario Electricity Support Program
  • Rent subsidies through the county, including assistance applying for Rent Supplement or Housing Allowance
  • Housing Services provide assistance and resources to access programs for people experiencing or at risk of homelessness, including: rental arrears
  • Emergency Supportive Services for people experiencing or at risk of experiencing homelessness
  • Landlord/tenant mediation
  • Referrals to community resources
  • Housing First Case Management
  • Listings for housing availability in the South Simcoe region
