DescriptionHealth care provided by a nurse practitioner * services are the same as expected from a family practice * each patient will have a nurse practitioner as his/her health care provider

Nurse Practitioner (NP) is a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) and a graduate-level university education as a Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner * licensed by the College of Nurses of Ontario as a Registered Nurse with Extended class (RN-EC) and is authorized to diagnose and treat illness/injury, order medical tests, prescribe medications and monitor chronic medical conditions 
 
Clinic team includes four nurse practitioners, an administrative team, collaborating physicians, registered nurses, Social workers, a registered dietitian and a pharmacist
